ADVERTISING POLICY

Policy:  The purpose of our advertising is to provide resources and useful advertorial information to our boating community.  The McBOAT Board of Directors reserves the right to decide what, when and where all advertising will be in our publications.  All of our advertising is limited to the same color format as our newsletter and website.  We also adhere to the following rules and guidelines:

 

  1. Acceptance of an ad shall under no circumstances be construed as an endorsement or support of the product or service by McBOAT.

  2. McBOAT will carry only advertising that complies with our ethical standards.

  3. No advertising associated with firearms, ammunition, pornography, tobacco, gambling or alcohol will be carried.

  4. It is incumbent that our advertisers comply with local, stat and federal rules for their business.

  5. McBOAT reserves the right to remove such advertising that may be deemed false or harmful to it’s members.

  6. No advertising shall be permitted to injure the good name of the McBOAT organization.

  7. Payment for advertising is required prior to publication.

Home Page Website Link:

There will be seven (7) website home page links available.  Three (3) links will be near the top of the page.  These will be sold for $350 per year.  Four (4) links will be placed toward the bottom of the home page and will be sold for $250 per year.  The link can be designed by the advertiser and limited in size to approximately 1 inch wide by ½ inch high.  Payment in full will be required prior to placement of the web link

Annual McBOAT Directory:

            The Directory is published once per year in June.  The directory has a listing of all McKinley Marina slip tenants in one section and a separate section listing McBOAT members.  In addition, the directory contains other general boating and safety information.  Advertising rates for the directory are the same at those for the E-Waterline.
