Security concerns have been brought to the McBoat Board after the unfortunate car theft from one of the Marina lots earlier in the year. We reached out to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office who was gracious enough to provide us with these tips.

Days before wonderful Memorial Day holiday, the hard work of McBoat Beautification Committee chaired by Paul Thielen and his green thumb again could be seen doing a marvelous job. They were working soil at all our marina entrance gates. Buoy Lighting and Maintenance In 2018 McBOAT embarked on a bold plan to help improve the McKinley Marina Basin for all who transit through here during the nighttime and waning light hours. Happy 2018! Pay to Park is a current hot button issue currently and we the Board would like to set a few things out in stone regarding the current proposals floating through the county government. First and foremost, county employees with which we work closely have assured us on multiple occasions that pay to park is not on the table for tenant lots within the proposed pay to park plans.

McBoat was recently informed by the Parks Department that in 2015 there will be no more LMD closures to marina tenants! That's right, this means we will have 24/7 access to the marina and our boats. This doesn't mean that there won't be events however. It simply means they, Parks Staff and Law Enforcement, have pledged to give marina tenants access to our slips when we choose.
